Grande Salle

The astonishing architecture of the Théâtre Outremont constitutes one of the best illustrations of early 20th-century Art Deco in Quebec. The Grande Salle with its sumptuous decor composed of geometric, primitive and exotic patterns is considered one of the most original works by architect René Charbonneau and decorator Emmanuel Briffa.

The Great Hall, which can accommodate 775 people, has a cinematographic projection system complete with a 35mm projector. Not only is this room perfect for premiere and cinema evenings, but also for all live art shows. The proscenium stage allows us to welcome dance, music and theater artists for a performance and a unique experience.
