Théâtre musical – texte, chanson et interprétation
Carried by a staging by Claude Poissant, Michel Rivard plunges us into the touching story of his childhood and the quest for his origins through original songs and finely chiseled monologues. Nearly eighty performances having sold out and more than 25,000 tickets sold, L'Origine de mesèce received two prestigious Felixes at the last ADISQ Gala, the Script of the Year award as well as the Show of the Year - Singer-songwriter.
A solo musical theater. Without borders between poetry, anecdote, drama and self-mockery, a respectable age songwriter retraces his origins and those of his vocation by telling and singing, in a sweet disorder, the story of his parents and that of his youth.
I was born without my consent first consolation prize in a combination of circumstances beyond my control ...
